Today I decided to doodle something for myself and practice my painting and workflow from sketch to final concept, since I've done a Batman a while ago (click here for the Bat!) I found that he needed his sidekick more than ever. Lately I've been working on a bust of a female aviator (that I would love to sculpt and hopefully can combine it with a school project), here's a work in progress shot:

I hope to finish it soon, but I already noticed that I'm trying to avoid this and work on other projects instead... We'll see.

kind of the basic workflow of how I paint... first a rough sketch, then make colorswatches and, as I paint, make more!Next time I'll promise to make incremental saves, because a lot of image-flipping were done while making this picture!
